Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS)

The Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS) helps UK businesses, charities and public sector organisations cover the upfront cost of installing EV chargepoints at their sites.

Who is eligible?

  • You are a registered business, charity or public sector organisation in the UK
  • You have dedicated off-street parking for staff or fleet use
  • Installation is carried out by an OZEV-authorised commercial installer

How much can you claim?

£350 per socket installed, up to a maximum of 40 sockets across all your sites (so up to £14,000).

How to apply

  1. Apply online via GOV.UK for a WCS voucher
  2. Pass the voucher code to your OZEV-authorised installer within 6 months
  3. The installer redeems the voucher and deducts the grant from your invoice
