EV Chargepoint Grant for Households with On-Street Parking
Households that only have on-street parking can claim up to £350 towards a cross-pavement charging solution (such as a cable gully), letting you charge an EV from home safely without trailing cables across the pavement.
Apply on GOV.UKWho is eligible?
- Your home has on-street parking only (no driveway or garage)
- Your local council permits a cross-pavement charging solution at your address
- You own or have ordered an eligible electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle
- Installation is carried out by an OZEV-authorised installer
How much can you claim?
Up to 75% of the cost of a cross-pavement solution and chargepoint, capped at £350 including VAT.
How to apply
- Check with your local council that cross-pavement charging is allowed
- Choose an OZEV-authorised installer
- The installer handles the grant application and deducts it from your invoice
