EV Chargepoint Grant for Renters and Flat Owners
If you rent your home or own a flat with private off-street parking, you may qualify for the OZEV EV chargepoint grant covering 75% of installation costs (up to £350 per socket).

- You rent any residential property (house or flat), or you own a flat
- You have private off-street parking at the property
- You own or have ordered an eligible electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle
- Installation is carried out by an OZEV-authorised installer
How much can you claim?
Up to 75% of the cost of buying and installing a chargepoint socket, capped at £350 including VAT.
How to apply
- Choose an OZEV-authorised chargepoint installer
- Confirm your property and vehicle eligibility with the installer
- The installer applies for the grant on your behalf and deducts it from your invoice
